So we finished checking homework and began on section 3.8; remember both identity matrices and inverse matrices are both square matrices only!

Homework for Friday

So kids today we completed 3.7.
The homework is 3.6# 24, 28, 30, 32, 38, 40, 42;
                           3.7# 1, 10, 16, 20, 40, 43


Things to take away from section 3.7:

• Determinant only applies to square matrices!
• We can use determinant to find areas of a triangle on the coordinate plane
• We can also use determinant to solve linear systems (a system of linear equations in 2/3 or more variables) efficiently using a computer!
